Turbo & Diesel Clinic is a division of Alpine Developments (Jhb)(Pty) Ltd., which specializes in the performance enhancement, maintenance and servicing of normally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines in passenger cars, MPV's, 4X4's and light commercial vehicles.

Alpine Developments (Jhb)(Pty)Ltd. was started in 1990 as an offshoot of Alpine Developments Pinetown, which started development on turbocharging in 1980, and for the past 15 years have worked closely with a number of South African motor manufacturers such as Nissan S.A., Toyota S.A., Ssang Yong S.A. Kia Motors S.A. and Samcor/Ford. During this time Alpine gained factory approval on a number of performance systems and fitted many thousands of vehicles with turbocharger systems, supercharger systems, intercooler systems, and various other performance modifications, gaining invaluable experience in this field. Most of our staff have been with us for many years and have been trained in and acquired the special skills required to work on these vehicles.

Housed in new premises in Strydom Park, Randburg, we have all the special tools, latest test equipment and facilities to enable speedy diagnosis of faults and equally speedy rectification. As members of the RMI (The Retail Motor Industry) all our customers are assured of proper workmanship and commitment to the RMI Code of Practice.

Over the years we have come to realize that very few people understand the way a turbocharger works on both petrol and diesel engines, and for this reason we have formed the TDC division to offer both Trade and Retail customers a comprehensive, professional service. Our skills are not limited to turbocharged vehicles and we take care of a wide range of normally aspirated vehicles.
